Mallee Catchment Management Authority
Mallee CMA’s primary responsibility is to ensure that natural resources in the region are managed in an integrated and ecologically sustainable way. The Mallee CMA region covers 3.9 million hectares – about one fifth of Victoria.
Aboriginal Waterway Assessments
Mallee CMA have worked with Traditional Owner groups to conduct assessments on multiple sites on their Country. Each identified site required a stand-alone assessment, along with a corresponding report. The development of Final Reports needed to be written using information from completed Aboriginal Water Assessment (AWA) surveys.

The Living Murray Program Achievements
The Living Murray (TLM) program was established in 2003 and is one of Australia’s largest river restoration programs. The program was designed to maintain the health of important areas of environmental, cultural and international significance through the recovery and strategic delivery of environmental water. Mallee CMA required a suite of communication assets to showcase the tangible successes of the TLM program through evidence-based, engaging materials.

Reconciliation Action Plan 2023
The Mallee CMA has a long history of working in partnership with Traditional Owners and Aboriginal communities to care for the region’s land, water and biodiversity. In 2023, as they reaffirmed their commitment to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by developing and implementing a Reconciliation Action Plan, they enlisted the expertise of Factotum Communications.
